Few shoes hold as much weight culturally as the famed Nike Air Foamposite. For a shoe which is so extreme in its look, the infamy of rocking "Foams" is equalled only by the difficulty of sourcing a pair.
Even without the rarity factor, Foams are a thing of folklore legend. Most closely associated with Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway the Foamposite was never officially the shoe of one particular player. Thanks to his affinity for the shoe and his prowess on the court, Penny Hardaway would become the Foamposite "guy".
This metallic red release sports an almost-identical finish to a pair released in 2017 – save for the use of tumbled leather across the lace panel – and it's just as impressive as it was some 6 years ago.
